Find Out About Prayer!

Our week began with the inauguration of our 47th President and the observation of Martin Luther King Day. Both events are of vital importance to us in America. It is fitting that we are in a series exploring the power of prayer in our relationship to the Father. I hope we pray for our President. I hope that we pray for unity in our country amongst all people. Prayer is powerful. There continues to be so much for us to learn about prayer.

Mother Teresa was once famously asked, "When you pray to God, what do you say to God?" She answered, "I don't say anything; I listen." 

Most of us come to God and find that we do all of the talking, but have you ever stopped to consider that a part of our prayer is "listening?" This Sunday come and explore with us how we listen to God.
