Amazed and Accepted

If you grew up in church you know what that's all about. Christians around the world will celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus this weekend. But is it just a nice religious moment we observe, or is there something deeper that Jesus' death and resurrection accomplished for us?

I want to encourage you to take some time to pause, and think about the implications of the Resurrection of Jesus on our lives. Coming back from the dead has never been done before. That alone should give us reason for a pause. If God could do that, it means that everything Jesus taught must be true.  

It means that Jesus really is God. It means that we no longer have to strive to achieve peace and hope by other means. It means that when we follow Jesus, our resurrection is guaranteed. Heaven is real and there is hope for the future.  

It means that our life here has purpose and meaning. It means that the bible is true and the life I live here I can live for Jesus. It means so much more...
