Parenting is a hard job! You work around the clock to teach your kids how to grow and be successful in the world. There are not many things more enjoyable than when your child "gets it" and they begin to live out what you have long taught. 

That being said, have you ever had that moment when you tell them how proud you are for learning what you've taught...only to have them give the credit to someone else? Ugh. It happens all the time. Someone models it or says it another way and the lights go on. As a parent, I was disappointed in one sense...but thrilled that my child was understanding and maturing into adulthood regardless. 

Kent Denlinger will be speaking on our desire for MORE... We never seem to have enough--enough money...enough time...enough friends...enough peace and the list gets long. The "more" that we all long for is legitimate...but can only be filled by God Himself.
