Most of us found ourselves in the dark a month or so ago as the storm of the century ripped through Western North Carolina. At first, being in the dark was an inconvenience. But, as time passed and light never came, the struggles began. Add to that the inability to communicate and not have water--we realized how vulnerable we really are.

BUT...then the lights came back on. Most of us had a new appreciation for being able to "see where we are going"...and not a few of us bought generators. Why? Because being able to see where you are going is important. It's important in life and it's important in Church.

Vision is a good thing. Perhaps you have never thought of the "vision" that GracePoint has...our painting of the preferred future--if we were a "successful" church, what would we look like?

You can find our vision on our here. It simply states that we are in the disciple-making business. Our vision is to see people grow to be like Jesus and to help others do the same.
